D8 Sorkuntza Faktoria is a creation space located in the Zorroza neighborhood, in Bilbao.
We have a space with capacity for more than 500 people with a stage, material and lighting and sound equipment for concerts, performances or other types of cultural events.
D8 Sorkuntza Faktoria is a project born in 2019. This project is part of ZORROTZAKO GAZTETXEA, a self-managed social center that since 2004 has kept the associative movement and social fabric of the Bilbao neighborhood of Zorroza active.
The center plays an important role in social integration, favoring an open and participatory space where the community can develop their inquisitiveness. At the same time, it assists and promotes the social cohesion of the surroundings, citizen participation and cultural creation.
D8 Sorkuntza Faktoria was born from the need to provide the company with a formal structure to the company Adriana Bilbao. However, its activity is not limited to this company, its objective is the creation of support programs for dance and performing arts professionals.
Likewise, the center promotes the creation of synergies between artists from different disciplines, the creation of new audiences and sensitivity.
